Mitra Khodadadi is an accomplished piano instructor with over 9 years of experience, specializing in working with young learners, including students as young as 3 years old. Her passion for early music education is reflected in her personalized teaching approach, ensuring that each lesson is engaging and tailored to the individual needs of the student. She believes in nurturing a love for music from a young age, laying a strong foundation in both technique and musicality.

Mitra holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master’s in Music Theory from McGill University, along with a minor in Music Education for young children. She has served as both a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at McGill University, where she supported instruction and conducted research in music and music education. Throughout her academic career, she has received numerous scholarships in recognition of her achievements. In addition to her degrees, Mitra has conducted extensive research in music education, continually seeking innovative methods to enhance her students’ learning experiences. She has also successfully worked with children with neurodiverse conditions, including autism and ADHD, creating adaptive and supportive learning environments.

Fluent in English, French, and Farsi, Mitra connects with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Her expertise extends beyond early learners, as she is equally passionate about teaching adults, guiding them through their musical journeys with patience and skill.
