Fiona Bergin is a Montreal-based soprano, and voice teacher. In 2021 she graduated from Canterbury High school of the Arts with a Voice Diploma, from the classes of Mr James Caswell. In 2024 she completed her Certificate in Classical Voice performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music based in London and Toronto under the guidance of Dr. Carolyn Hart. During these studies, Fiona’s musical training has been supported through scholarships from musical competitions from her time in Ottawa.
Fiona Bergin has been a soloist with the teachings from Yoriko Tanno-Kimmons for the Opera Showcase held by her studio and through Musical Theatre Productions, the latest being in Sault Ste. Marie with the Musical Comedy Guild.
Participating and competing in festivals in Ottawa and Sault Ste. Marie has been a way to challenge her knowledge and understanding of her craft. Kiwanis, NATS and the Sault Ste. Marie Music Festival are the most recent.
Her singing experience also includes numerous performances as a choir singer with the Student Choirs of the OCSB, High School Choirs of Canterbury High School, The Chamber Singers of Algoma and St. Luke’s Cathedral Choir.
