
Armin holds both a BMus in Contemporary Music and Performance and an MA in Twenty-First Century Music, graduating with honours from Brunel University, West London, UK. Since graduating, he has been involved in numerous projects and performances across the UK, including a collaboration with the acclaimed Iranian pioneer guitarist and composer Pouya Mahmoodi.
Armin also worked as the sound recordist for the multi-award-winning film Universal Language, which has been featured in over 100 film festivals worldwide, including Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, the Melbourne International Film Festival, TIFF, the New York Film Festival, the BFI London Film Festival, Rotterdam, the Museum of the Moving Image, and MoMA. The film has earned numerous accolades, including the Chantal Akerman Prize at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, the Bright Horizons Award in Melbourne, the FIPRESCI Prize at the Viennale, the Toronto Film Critics Prize for Best Dramatic Film, and was shortlisted for an Academy Award.
Very recently on 12 July 2025, Armin released his debut album Three Days (سه روز), featuring original compositions set to Persian classical and contemporary poetry by Rumi, Hafez, Ahmad Shamloo, and Yadollah Royaie.
Teaching has been a part of Armin’s life from a very young age. Even as a student, he was already sharing his knowledge, and since then he has worked with many students across various music institutions and schools in both London
