Nikki Arsenault

the finalist of the Virtuose 3 show, the CANIMEX and Quebecor scholarship recipient, 22-year-old Montreal flutist, Nikki Arsenault participates in musical competitions such as the festival-Concours de Musique de Sherbrooke, the Concours Solistes et Petits Ensembles de la FHOSQ, the Canada-CANIMEX Music Competition and has won gold and silver medals with special prizes every year since 2017.

At the first edition of the Con Brio Music Competition in 2017, Nikki also received a gold medal and a prestigious prize from the Quatrouvailles quartet, allowing her to join the quartet on stage in May 2018.

A graduate of the FACE school, the young musician continues her musical studies at McGill University with Mr. Albert Brouwer. Nikki began her flute studies in 2012 with Mr. Albert Brouwer, a flutist with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Between 2008 and 2014, she took intensive violin lessons with her mother. The young flutist has already stood out in concerts at the Tour des Arts (Estrie) in 2014-2016, in the concert series at Parc des Chenaux in Trois-Rivières and at the Maison d’opéras et concerts in Sherbrooke in 2018, at the Mercredis en Musique in Verdun concert series as well as concerts in Knowlton and Victoriaville, at the Stella Musica Festival, at the Prélude du Carré 150 in Victoriaville with Tristan Longval-Gagné in 2019. In 2017, Nikki performed as a soloist with the ensemble Les Cordes-à-Vent in Sutton and Dunham, QC. In the summers of 2019, 2020, and 2023, she did a musical internship at Orford Musique. In 2020, Nikki won the iMusici challenge, which allowed her to play CPE Bach’s Concerto in D minor with the iMusici orchestra of Montreal.
